MGTL | History 1968: Total Lithography founded by Charles "Chuck" Cray to provide premium-quality printing and related services to advertising agencies, design studios and corporate accounts. 1973: Media Graphics division opened, specializing in ad prep and color separations. 1985: M.R. Bindery purchased to expand in-house bindery capabilities. 1989: Media Graphics forms Image Graphics Systems department to focus on electronic separations and retouching; Scitex workflow installed. 1997: Aldus Digital Graphics merges with MGTL, adding typography and production services. 2001: Jon McCullough, Inc. merges with MGTL's Total Lithography division. 2002: Creo computer-to-plate workflow installed. 2006: Digital printing department started to provide a full range of short-run printing services. 2007: Upgraded computer-to-plate system with Kodak Prinergy PDF workflow. 2009: Joined Unisource Paper's "respectâ„¢" Printer's Program to promote environmentally-friendly products. 2010: MGTL merges with Supreme Graphics, Inc. and moves to a new building in Hawthorne, California. 2011: The parent company of MGTL, Supreme Graphics, Inc., is FSC certified.
